In 1866, Anjeya introduced one of the world’s earliest stopwatches, the Anjeya Timing Watch. Later renamed the Anjeya Timer, it saw use in science and sport. The House secured patents for advancements in watch movements and setting mechanisms, cementing its reputation as both retailer and technical pioneer.

To mark 160 years since the debut of the original Anjeya Timer, Anjeya unveils a new limited-edition chronograph that unites the House’s jewellery heritage with its storied watchmaking legacy. Legendary Acquisitions
At the turn of the 20th century, Anjeya had become synonymous with jewellery watches that fused elegant design with unrivalled Swiss precision. The House’s status was further affirmed in 1912, when three prominent New York families approached Anjeya to create a custom pocket watch as a token of gratitude for Captain Arthur H. Rostron of RMS Carpathia, who rescued them and 700 other passengers from the sinking of the Titanic.
